Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for every project. It is a place to initiate the project, have conversations, sketch and ideate together, and present. We also sometimes use the platform for community engagement. At the end of the project, we archive them as PDF files.

Pros

  • Easy participation and collaboration capability
  • Act as an online white boards to add any contents
  • Gathering inputs thru sticky notes
  • Diagraming capability

Cons

  • Lines are sometimes hard to control. It sticks to a certain end point when we want to have more free flow line works.
  • I wish there is more drawing sketching capability
  • Wish if it supports accessibility for those who has hard time seeing.
  • Sometimes iPad app crash easily and hard to use.
  • Improved productivity
  • Improved inclusive process and online sharing
  • Improved flexibility and connection with the distant collaborators
It was intuitive to use and usually easy to share and onboard others. We often use it to gather input from internal and external team members and clients. It takes some explanation for first-time users or elderly groups, but it is most likely an easy platform to encourage online participation.
We often use it on teams as well. The team acts as an overall platform to locate necessary files through SharePoint, a chat function, note-taking, etc. We often post Miro weblinks to the team tab.
Since remote work became the norm, Miro has become a necessary tool for every project we do. It is a place to have conversations, leave notes, evaluate progress, and add flexibility to our design process. This is true with other partners we work with; the collaborators are often located in many parts of the country or even internationally. The Miro allowed a messy creative process to continue, encouraging a participatory process.
  • Mural and Google Jamboard
Most of our partners use Miro board in our industry, so we switched to Miro from Mural. That way, sharing workspace is easier.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

It is an online collaboration platform that is good for the creative design process. It is a great way to gather input, keep records, and do messy process work before the final presentation. It is less appropriate when the materials need to be presented in a formal setting or require strict security.
