Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro for every project. It is a place to initiate the project, have conversations, sketch and ideate together, and present. We also sometimes use the platform for community engagement. At the end of the project, we archive them as PDF files.
Pros
- Easy participation and collaboration capability
- Act as an online white boards to add any contents
- Gathering inputs thru sticky notes
- Diagraming capability
Cons
- Lines are sometimes hard to control. It sticks to a certain end point when we want to have more free flow line works.
- I wish there is more drawing sketching capability
- Wish if it supports accessibility for those who has hard time seeing.
- Sometimes iPad app crash easily and hard to use.
- Improved productivity
- Improved inclusive process and online sharing
- Improved flexibility and connection with the distant collaborators
Since remote work became the norm, Miro has become a necessary tool for every project we do. It is a place to have conversations, leave notes, evaluate progress, and add flexibility to our design process. This is true with other partners we work with; the collaborators are often located in many parts of the country or even internationally. The Miro allowed a messy creative process to continue, encouraging a participatory process.
- Mural and Google Jamboard
Most of our partners use Miro board in our industry, so we switched to Miro from Mural. That way, sharing workspace is easier.
