Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use it mostly for collaboration, but in the sense of managing incidents (that are unfamiliar) and some shift handovers.
I'm not using it these days, but I used it in the past.
I think the main use is just so things won't fall between the cracks, because the amount of people working on the same things is quite large.

Pros

  • intuitive UI so that it is easy to start working with
  • helps with understanding one another without endless meetings
  • centralize data for a specific incident

Cons

  • Missing the AI innovation, less dragging and dropping and more suggestions
  • Experienced some freezing, but rarely, so I'm not sure if our computers were the problem
  • We experienced less missed data on critical incidents
  • We were able to start working with Miro relatively fast
for me it was pretty straight forward, not complex at all, but I might have missed a part of it, because I don't remember a real implementation of anything, so maybe there was another stage I missed.
If not - it's a great sign that the implementation is practically P&P
the ability to work with on-call analysts working from home 24/7/365 was the main benefit of Miro for me. collaboration in cybersecurity is more than efficient, it's crucial.
basically more ease of use, more ability to collaborate without too many errors (with OneNote there were many problems with the syncing) and more features to work with, without needing to customize too much.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

So the use cases are pretty specific, it won't fit any case, and in many times we didn't use it if everyone are in the office.
but - for teams that work 24/7 with some people working from home and have some urgent incidents you need to collab on + you need some flexible dashboard for it, it can be very useful.
I guess it can help other teams as well with creative work - but it was not what I've used it for.
