A must-have for collaborative innovators
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use Miro to help with project alignment kick-offs, designing page trees for information architecture, journey mapping, affinity mapping research synthesis and team retros.
Pros
- Collaboration is key especially working in remote environments and Miro is a fantastic tool for getting the teams aligned on a project
- Talkback is a great feature to walkthrough a board to give team members the freedom to watch it in their own time rather than having to wait for the whole team to be together
- Putting frames on the board helps to keep content in sections and really helps with grouping everything you need your team to look at in chunks of information, notoriously tools like Miro have been difficult to separate information but this is much easier with Miro now.
- AI summary of research notes is a fantastic feature which groups findings in to key categories and helps to synthesise the findings quickly and easily.
Cons
- Easier exporting of frames would be great to have an export icon right there on the main work area
- Further enhancing the AI feature would be great to have more options when creating content or when synthesising research, having suggestions on what else you could do with the feature would be great
- Being able to export comments from a board would be great. I haven't seen this is possible.
- Increased team output by 15%, especially in design, research, and planning phases
- Increased participation in collaborative sessions by 50%, especially from quieter or remote team members
- Reduced time to key decisions by 60% in cross-functional projects
Miro has been key and remains to be for our remote workers and teams in multiple locations. Without it we simply wouldn't be able to affectively collaborate.
