Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Brainstorming, strategic planning, project planning, workshops, visual design
Pros
- Lots of features / tools - able to design a lot of different things, and integrate different mediums, lots off opportunity to customize (color, scale, etc.)
- Fast, responsive - usually doesn't lag, can operate well even when there are a number of users
Cons
- Different view / functional options for different types of users. When delivering a workshop, we've been begging for a while now for Miro to create a simplified toolbar for participants. They really only need to use stickies, vote functions, and navigate around the board.
- Table function could still use some work
- Being able to export a frame as a word document would be cool!
- Hard to quantify, but definitely enables collaboration internally
- Has facilitated collaboration through workshops of thousands of people
Stickies, frames, locking, connection arrows, free hand drawing, presentation mode, timer, embedded documents, colour and text customization
yes, I am able to use fewer other platforms since more is integrated directly in Miro
- Mural and Microsoft 365
In my opinion, Microsoft White Board does not compare. So much lag, much more limited functionality (ability to customize visuals and text), no ability to lock content, etc. Mural I haven't used as much. Probably closer in competition to Miro - felt pretty similar. Miro I think still had more functionality from what I can recall.
Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?
