Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Miro is used for process mapping within our organisation , especially when the existing process needs to be mapped graphically, when working with multiple stakeholders from the business team so that process reengineering or any IT transformation needs to be carried out on the business process . Miro supports a wide variety of templates for process mapping along with the unlimited canvas which makes process mapping really easy and efficient
Pros
- The unlimited canvas area with a very intuitive and the zoom in zoom out function is very intuitive which makes navigation as well as usability very easy, and also one board is sufficient for the entire process because you can extend across the board as the canvas is infinite
- Collaboration is very easy as multiple users can collaborate on the same board at the same time and the sync is very fast
Cons
- I would like to see an easy export option to ppt or word in the future updates
- Miro saves a lot of time as brainstorming with colleagues is possible for mapping a existing or new process easily irrespective of the location of the colleagues and collaboration is very easy as it supports multiple users at the same time,Sharing is also easy can be shared via links and also pinned in teams.
The ability to collaborate with multiple users a the same time and perform multiple edits at the same time by different users saves a lot of time as there is no need for duplicate boards or syncing the data from versions created by different users .The board is updated in real time and can be easily shared to stakeholders with the link as the board is always up to date with all changes.
Earlier process mapping was done in word or ppt using the shapes , arrows and textboxes to create a flowchart now I have completely moved to Miro to map a process and it supports a wide variety of shapes, connectors and templates
