Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro as a power visual thinking tool to help myself and others navigate and clarify complex information.

Pros

  • Miro's infinite canvas let's me visualize information for several source into a single view.
  • Miro's presentation features let me build slide decks directly alongside content – whether it’s created on the canvas or synced from other tools – so I can maintain flow without switching to another app.
  • Miro's Talktrack feature lets me share a board as if I were guiding someone through it in real-time, saving me from writing long, detailed emails over and over.

Cons

  • Miro needs better board management, e.g., bulk actions like move or delete.
  • I would love to be able to archive boards. This would let me keep my dashboard "clean".
  • As both a Team Member of several teams and a Company Admin, I would like to be able to send a link to a team workspace.
  • Collaborative equity
  • Increased collaboration
  • Time saved processing workshops, especially using Miro AI
  • Better alignment when using visuals
Miro is very usable, unless you are not familiar or comfortable using computer applications. Miro could be even more usable if we were able to bookmark any item or location on the canvas without needing to create a frame.
Frames are a great way to organize, present, and navigate to content on the canvas. The addition of formats like Docs and Tables have completely revolutionized the way I work in Miro and have enabled me to create more visually appealing and digestible information.
With the Jira integration, I spend less time context switching between Miro and Jira. Miro Docs have reduced my dependency on Microsoft and Google Docs.
Compared to its competitors, Miro's simplified user interface minimalistic, offers some customization, and has some great keyboard shortcuts.
