Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is the easiest way to present ideas or project concepts during the initial brainstorming stages to user groups. It is used throughout the project lifecycle to track the initial idea to the final rollout of the project, utilizing sticky notes, flowcharts, and the templates catalogue in the application.

Pros

  • Multiple users can contribute at same time without any lag on the same board.
  • The board can be shared easily via a link, with the option to password-protect it for a broad audience. Access can be controlled, allowing users to view or edit the board.

Cons

  • The view access should be open to users without a license.
  • Team productivity has improved as multiple users can collaborate on the same board, saving a lot of time.
  • The dependency on OneNote/Excel/Word for notetaking, recording meeting minutes, or brainstorming ideas has decreased due to Miro's ease of use.
The interface is very fluid and easy to use, and very fast with no delay or lag.
The option to copy and paste screenshots into the Miro canvas, along with the ability to easily resize/crop the image, helps me during meetings for quick note-taking.
I used OneNote for notetaking regularly and have completely switched to Miro because of the overall UI and look and feel of the application.
