Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

  • It's extremely affordable compared to solutions like Jira or Confluence. It saves the company a significant amount of money.
  • Cuts my team's response time in half.
  • No more downtime when people are out on PTO.
At WEX, Inc. monday.com is currently being used by at least 5 departments within the company, including Operations, Human Resources, Product and IT. We're using it to track Projects, Tasks, Timelines, Goals, Card Orders, Certification Processes, and the status of our Support Requests. So far we haven't found anything we can't use it for. There was a great deal of disconnect among our teams as to who was doing what, and monday.com has allowed us to completely correct that. Everyone has visibility into what others are doing, and where we stand with all our projects and day-to-day work.

  • Helps reduce email and paper trails.
  • More data points for chart views, but those are coming in the future.
It's extremely flexible software with an appstore like interface for integrations that continues to grow everyday. The gmail and form automations are extremely useful for us and were very easy to setup.
Although we haven't had to use it much monday.com up time and customer support has been quick and to the point. They've answered every question we've had thoroughly and are extremely reliable and helpful.
Since we started using monday.com over 2 years ago we've experienced no down time or outages. It's flexible and fast and we rely on it daily to complete our work. Out of all the programs and products we use it's definitely one of the more reliable ones.

Both are very powerful project management software solutions. Smartsheet has a small advantage, specifically in that area, but has none of the other features we use it for in regards to creating forms for external facing parties, automation within our group, and basic visible task management. It has made my team a well-oiled machine.
One of the things my team and I really like about monday.com is that if you're creative there really isn't anything you can think of that it can't be of some use for. We use for everything from the simplest of things, like tracking who's on-call or PTO, to very complex projects and timelines. Everyone is on the same page, up-to-date, and we've even managed to replace shared email boxes with boards on monday.com that incorporate automation and integrate with day-to-day tools we use like Gmail and Jira. Based on how often they update the platform, it becomes harder and harder to come up with things it's not appropriate for.

monday.com & Collaboration

Thanks to the robust flexibility and functionality on monday.com and it's available integrations it's perfect for the cross-team collaboration my team needs to work efficiently on a daily basis. With a remote team of 9 people working two significantly different sections of our business every day monday.com has been great at keeping everyone on the same page and allowing me as a team lead to stay informed as to what everyone is working on. We use it to manage everything from who's on PTO to our most complex project timelines. The forms features and gmail integration allows us to collect data from external parties and automate responses and free us up to focus on more important daily activities. It allows full communication right within the app and for those folks out of the office the mobile app is just as easy to use as the web version. We can get status updates, move project timelines and all our data is in one place so there's no more headaches. We're 10 times more efficient then we were before using monday.com.

Although it's not quite as feature rich as a program like Microsoft Project it's rapidly catching up to those types of software and new features are being added weekly. Keeping that in mind I feel it's more than most folks would need to manage any and all of the project related work they're doing. We manage all types of different work and project timelines with monday.com and we would never use anything else at this point. I don't doubt that next year I would rate this a 10.
