Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

monday.com is used across the whole organization. monday.com helps us see and track tasks for each client and manage workloads among employees. monday.com is also great for tracking contractors' work across our company. Although we are a small company a project management system is essential, and monday.com is very useful.

  • Notification and alert for close to overdue tasks
  • Sorting of just a single person's work across all boards
  • When subitem is set to done, the entire task gets placed in done group when not completed
  • It is pricey for missing basic features
  • Task Management is good, but can be cheaper somewhere else
  • Only appeal may be the color choices
  • Finicky with customizations, seems open but some little things are missing
It is very easy to use and simple. The only time it becomes an issue is when trying to add customizations to their templates and figuring out personal automation for our unique business. Creating customizations is when the system gets complicated and complex and possibly expensive, with contractors charging over 1000+ for 8 hours of work.
They were really helpful in answering our questions when we were having issues with customization. They are knowledgeable and respectful; however, our problems were not solved with the tools monday.com had at the moment.
Reliability is great. monday.com is always operating during business hours, and if it is scheduling, shutdown notifications are sent multiple ways weeks in advance to ensure we can work around the shutdown times.

monday.com is well suited for a small company looking to organize its long task list and allocate tasks to different employees or contractors. It is perfect to make sure everything is being completed and see who is completing them. monday.com is less appropriate for task delegation at a quick glance. Their sorting and notification features don't offer the option to view the most important tasks across all boards. Nor are their notification settings to see which items are about to be overdue. The only way was to purchase add ons when it should be a simple and free service.
