Overall Satisfaction with monday.com
We have been using monday.com for just over a year now. The software effectively acts as our project manager. As a small business across two locations, we are constantly in dialogue to keep projects on track. Collective deadlines, automated reminders and updates, and personalization allow for an extremely effective task management and tracking program.
Pros
- Automated deadline reminders
- Automated shipment tracking
- Cross-posting on multiple boards
- Effective division of tasks into project coordinators and collaborators
Cons
- Learning curve - it took a long time for everyone to get on board and using the program to its full potential
- Notification settings - challenging to figure out the right balance of quantity and frequency of reminders across the team.
- Inbox vs. notifications - It's confusing which notification is for what, sometimes things only show up in inbox, sometimes only in notifications. So it feels like having to check two places for updates.
- Easier task management for a small business across multiple locations
- Automated reminders ping employees so that managers don't have to nag
- Deadlines met more consistently
monday.com is extremely reliable. It updates quickly across the entire teams' boards, and it sends prompt automated reminders. We have not had any glitching issues or delayed updates.
Monday.com is the broadest scope work management software I have used. Its interface is basic and takes some getting used to, but the programming options are highly advanced and extremely effective.
