Overall Satisfaction with NetSuite ERP
NetSuite ERP is our ERP system for our company. We use it to track our Fixed Assets, Cap Software, Deferred Contract Costs, and Prepaid's. Finally we use the AR side to bill our customers. The system is our standard of record and provides us with all our Financial details for which we then use to load into a different tool to produce forecasts and planning.
Pros
- AR Billing
- JE approvals
- Audit logs
- Period locking
- AR/AP agings
Cons
- Fixed Asset Module
- Tracking AP payments
- Bank reconciliations
- The ERP system feeds directly into our forecasting model allowing for ease of processing our raw data into a state of presentation
- The PO process has decreased our order entry time for invoices and approvals
- Overall requests from auditors are responded quickly as everything is located in one place
Quickbooks is a great tool for startup companies. It provides all the basics; AR, AP, and Financials. However it does not provide anything with regards to advanced modules.
Sage Intacct is actually a very well made ERP system. Our company was considering both NetSuite ERP and Intacct but in the end decided to go with NetSuite ERP due to Intacct being bought out by Sage.
Sage 500 is a difficult ERP system to use. It is archaic and clunky to use.
