Good value for money easy to set up.

We use New Relic heavily for logging, performance analysis and observability. It gives us a good searchable dump of all logs in one place, which we don't have to worry about maintaining ever, along with all the p90, p99 metrics and error rates for all APIs in one place. Alerting could be a little bit better though.

We haven't found the 3rd party API benchmarking to be specifically helpful as such as it doesn't have much insights. Not even the p90, 99 metrics for APIs which are not in my app or not instrumented.

Since the infra is owned and maintained by New Relic we don't really have to worry about setting up our own observability infra or set up any kibana or ES dashboards. It is pretty helpful in that regard. Saved me hours and hours of engineering bandwidth and is quite reliable.
