Overall Satisfaction with New Relic
New Relic is used to get to monitor systems within the organization for much better understanding of the metrics and online status. It’s useful when getting statistics about different IT related content. Also it is in the cloud offering 100 percent uptime and no downtime. This is very useful for alerting and on premise monitoring
Pros
- It gets the monitoring done brilliantly
- It does alerting within seconds if there is downtime
- It lets you use its AI features for better workload
Cons
- It should get more on premise stuff integrated easier
- Better uptime - greater customer satisfaction
- No negative impact
This does fit the description perfectly. If you are on the cloud, on prem or hybrid you will get all the monitoring you will ever need even more than that. The organization would much benefit from data being checked within the minute rather than relying on systems that are prone to fail
The adoption of New Relic has improved the way the teams are working due to the fact that they are not hassling with on premise infra only anymore. This does reduce the operational overhead and brings overall improvements of the work life. More companies should embrace this approach overall as a whole
Definitely. The devops culture much benefits from this as the way the new relic is designed helps much of the side systems get integrated and get closer to cloud like systems. In the hybrid approach this does improve the overall systems behaviour and workload. In terms of devops this much accelerates the processes
