NinjaOne helping you take control of your Companies PCs and Servers
Overall Satisfaction with NinjaOne
We use NinjaOne to manage our PCs and servers. We brought in NinjaOne to help automate software installations, patch management and generally the ability to manage our PCs and servers. We currently have NinjaOne deployed to all our PCs and servers, which are running either Windows or a flavor of Linux. We have our PCs to auto patch windows updates and we are making use of the built in software patching of other products as well. We have some of the servers auto patching that are not as critical. We have also written a number of scripts to make changes to the PCs or add software as the need has arised.
Pros
- Windows Patch management
- Generally gaining access to the systems either through cli or splashtop
- Script management to be able to address setting configuration items
Cons
- They need to continue to expand their library of scripts
- They can continue to improve integration like hardware warranty lookup vs us having to try to script it ourselves
- Windows patching as we cannot get employees to do it themselve so that alone is making an impact
- having data about our pcs all the time which we did not have before
- remote access to pcs in a variety of ways vs hoping remote desktop would work
Has greatly improved our ability to manage our employee's PCs. We now have access to data and to the PCs as long it's on and connected to any network. This has made a huge impact on our ability to manage and maintain our workforce PCs.
NinjaOne has helped greatly with our security posture, with the ability to keep machines updated with Windows patches and the software packages that NinjaOne maintains updates for we are better off. Also, the ability to inventory the software on all the machines in near Realtime and being able to then remove software that should not be on there. Also the integration with antivirus/antimalware and giving us one pane to look at to make sure our PCs are secure.
Software inventory reports, patch management reports, automated patching, all of which is saving us hours a month. I would estimate that we are saving almost 150 to 200 hours a month with automated patching alone.
For ease of use NinjaOne seems to be easiest to get up and running and just how they present everything seems easier than the other solutions we looked at and then bottom line was it had the features we wanted and the price was very reasonable compared to the other vendors.

Evaluating NinjaOne and Competitors
- Ease of Use
- Other
We evaluated about 4 other solutions out there for managing our PCs and servers. We were looking for mainly patch management and visibility to our PCs and servers and being able to report on them. We found that NinjaOne was the easiest to use out of the 5 we looked at and that for what we needed NinjaOne provided the best value over the other solutions.
I don't think that our process would have changed much from when we did this 2 years ago. I think that their is newer products to evaluate and some of the have changed and improved over the last 2 years. I think NinjaOne continues to innovate their product and would still be one of the top solutions.
