Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Currently OneDrive is the one stop shop for all our document and video management. We have organised structures where teams can save the data in their own space. Having the ability to save documents in to locations where we can put permissions in place so that others cant access these documents is very handy.

Usability

I think the UI is ok but not great. There are some small changes that they could do to make it slick like some of the other great tech products in the market right now.

Alternatives Considered

Dropbox and Google Drive

I think OneDrive just edges out the other two because of the connection it has to the microsoft suite. All the excel and word documents just work. You dont have to worry what formatting might do to the document.

Starting a new project its alway great to set yourself up a space and set the permission. You can easily outline folders and put locks on documents that shouldn't be spread across the entire team. Once the project is up and going team members from all over the globe are able to save documents. Some of these documents can be teams meetings that have been recorded that have great value to the project itself.
