Overall Satisfaction with Optimizely Web Experimentation

We needed an advanced a/b testing and site personalization platform to take our team to the next level; Optimizely Web Experimentation simplifies our workflow, enhances and automates much of our analytics, and enables us to both increase our test velocity and run more complex experiments overall. It's both saved us time and effort and led us to better, quicker results.
  • UI for users of all levels (from business owners to developers) is clean, simple and easy-to-use
  • The in-platform analytics are far and above any competitor, and the combination of Bayesian and Frequentist methods to calculate statistical significance is a huge pro
  • The experiment editing and previewing capabilities are seamless, and allow collaborators of all levels to set up and review tests with ease
  • The audience set up for personalizations is a little hard to spot at first; could be surfaced more clearly like in the A/b test experience set-up.
  • time saved in creating and analyzing tests; leading to more money in the same time
  • increased CVR and Revenue from increased quality and amount of tests run
I love that you can duplicate experiments -- it would be amazing if you could easily copy/paste aspects of them across projects.
It's incredibly efficient to be able to use just one platform to organize, run, analyze and track our tests. It saves time and prevents confusion across our organization.
Analytics are vastly superior, platform UI is by far the easiest to use, and capabilities are best in class. If your organization has any budget for a web experimentation tool, it should be using Optimizely Web Experimentation.
All UX site testing ideas are well-suited to Optimizely Web Experimentation; for instance, we've tested using a static add-to-bag CTA on PDPs vs. a hybrid sticky and static CTA. Landing page tests for media also run well in Optimizely Web Experimentation, although we focus less on these.
