Overall Satisfaction with Optimizely Web Experimentation
We use Optimizely to run experimental campaigns on our sites (A/B tests). We explore different placements of calls to action and compare different user actions. Our other products run different A/B tests depending on the teams' interests in experimental campaigns (some are placements, some are about including or not including instructor names, and some are about wording for different classes and CTAs).
Pros
- Dashboard of experiments: clear differentiation, notation of status.
- Organization: ability to breakdown by product, experiment, etc.
- Easily accessible history.
Cons
- More integrations: ClickUp?
- More learning materials for how to set up campaigns.
- Increased conversions from being able to run different tests.
- Increased efficiency from being able to look at multiple campaigns at once.
- Increased visibility into campaigns for different team members.
By having testing, personalization, design, and analysis tools all in one place, we've been able to focus on learning and using one software to run our experimental campaigns. It's been beneficial to see and edit things in one place and focus our experimental campaign energy on one platform.
