Optimizely, my best recommended tool for Web A/B testing.
Overall Satisfaction with Optimizely Web Experimentation
We run many A/B test cases in production to determine what changes can potentially increase or decrease revenue, attract more new customers, increase online medical visits, and increase the number of items added to the shopping cart during the checkout process. Changes involve alternative text, images, styling, pages, etc.
Pros
- It's easy to use without having to be a pro to set up campaigns and experiments up so we can evaluate the impact on the consumer experience by making the changes in production.
- it integrates easily with Google Analytics and GTM, so we can see the results of optimized experiments on GA without implementing our own API to capture optimized results for analytics.
- It has many great features, such as custom targets, metrics, audience, visual editor, and APIs; it works not only on static websites but also on single-page applications using React or Angular.
Cons
- I believe Optimizely has already a lot of features.
- I found nothing to improve at the moment.
- I may suggest improvements by using advance features, at the moment our use is basic.
- We increased conversions & revenue by making permanent changes using the winner variant.
- We found some changes potentially were bad initiatives.
- We save time and resources by implementing A/B test by making code changes.
We haven't used other Optimizely products apart from Web Experimentation. In the past, before Optimizely, we used Google Optimize, but then the management decided to switch to Optimizely.

Optimizely is easy to use. We save time by not making code changes on our applications. We quickly find which changes potentially can increase conversion and revenue and which changes may negatively impact the business. We also save resources as most of the A/B tests we do don't involve developers.
We haven't used other Optimizely products apart from Web Experimentation.
