Building tests is very easy with Optimizely Web Experimentation
Overall Satisfaction with Optimizely Web Experimentation
I am a consultant who runs Optimizely Web Experimentation tests for multiple clients. This includes personalization and testing for many different use cases, but trying to drive additional meaningful traffic to key pages, and increase conversions - specifically driving KPIs for clients.
Pros
- Easy to implement
- Building tests is very easy
- I love the ability to wait for elements on a page
Cons
- Reporting is very arduous to set up
- Integration with Google Analytics is resulting in SRM and has limitations
- Preview mode lag is an issue
- Increases efficiency in design process
- Personalization allows for better user experiences and higher revenue
I think it's great being able to go into a single platform to review the test, but I really wish that Google Analytics worked better to allow us to analyze without the need for granular metrics
I think that Optimizely Web Experimentation is much easier to implement and use, but the entire Adobe Experience Cloud provides a ton of value if you have multiple products.
