Overall Satisfaction with Optimizely Web Experimentation
we conduct A/B tests for our marketing department on our website. we want to increase click conversion for most of our guided selling funnels so we create different designs and content in order to increase conversion and optimization.
Pros
- easy to implement a element change on the site
- easy to understand the stat sign algorithm and analyze results
- great CMAB and stats accelerator features for our low traffic site and promos
Cons
- reporting - it is getting there but looking to see more of a ROI report
- easy to implement win variations into our cms
- increase click conversions in top landing pages where we need users to move on to our funnels
- increased funnel conversion and revenue by testing quick selling journeys and split them into two different journeys so this was a great success experimentation
we are using CMP not fully used yet but I can already see how easy is going to be when we put a workflow for all our departments to follow and also with ODP we are going to be able to experiment better.
we have grown to a full on experimentation cultured company and now we are running more experiments than ever. our marketing departments now can't move on with updating their content or the UI teams with designs before testing. This has been crucial to implement only when the winning variants had increased confident conversions.
