Overall Satisfaction with Outreach

Our business development and sales team both use Outreach every day. It's one of our most essential tools. We use it to send emails, manually and through our sequences. We can also track who opened an email, how many times, and whether they clicked on any links. We also utilize Outreach, which enables us to contact each country. Similar to email, we can track when we made the call, what the outcome was, and a variety of other helpful information is recorded. The general dashboard provides a summary for each prospect and account.

Pros

  • Building sequences, using a omni channel approach.
  • Detailed report of each team members activity (email, calling, socials etc.)
  • Clear overview of prospect and account summary.
  • Straight to the point menu navigation.
  • Email outbox, very useful for analysing low hanging fruit.
  • Good integration with other tools.

Cons

  • Option to switch more easy between different phone numbers.
  • Dark theme.
  • Ability to see who opened your email, not just how many times it was opened.
  • Time saved at finding previously gathered information about prospects or accounts.
  • Time saved by outreach using systemized sequences.
  • Time saved by calling prospects right after each other.
  • Time saved by not having to look for contact info.
We grew by hundreds of employees, and the tool still works amazingly. Increasing your team size doesn't matter; the tool will scale accordingly. It's great to have it organized by team or manager; this also makes the reporting function very user-friendly. The reports can be customized to show exactly what you're looking for.
The AI capability can help us quickly craft a personalized message or email to our prospect. This saves us time in writing, cuts down on research time, and helps keep the momentum going forward. It is especially useful for new hires. I'm looking forward to experimenting with the other AI capabilities it offers.
Most important of all is that the Outlook and Salesforce plugins work perfectly. And also important is that Outreach is never down. We can rely on it working. In general, you can see they listen to what business development and sales teams need, because the tool captures everything that's part of the outreach processes.
Salesforce, Apollo, and HubSpot offer similar capabilities, but they simply don't meet the needs. They're more useful for other processes. But for specifically doing outreach as an AE or BDR, Outreach has everything you need. The integrations are great, the software is easy to use, the capabilities are well thought out, and it just makes your life/work a lot easier.

Do you think Outreach delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Outreach's feature set?

Yes

Did Outreach live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Outreach go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Outreach again?

Yes

Both are suitable for a strategy that targets a large number of accounts simultaneously using sequences. However, it is also ideal for a more sniper-like approach, which requires additional manual steps. It allows us to work with a process or system, which helps us drive higher numbers. It is also very easy for newly onboarded employees to master the tool. In general, a must-have tool.
