Overall Satisfaction with PagerDuty
Its a reliable alerting management tool. It helps you getting alerts to right people on time through channels like sms and email. It provides comprehensive visibility of all the alerts initiated and also shows who was alerted for that.
Pros
- Real time alerts provides immediate notifications
- It knows when to escalate the issue if its not addressed by the first responsee
Cons
- Sometimes it can create multiple or unnecessary alerts of an uncritical issue
- On time call scheduling
- Alerts management
- Its features set has decreased our downtime
- It helps critical issues are addressed on time which makes sure we dont incur loss
PagerDuty is faster and has no downtime which makes it better than almost any other incident management application.
