Overall Satisfaction with Paycom
We were previous clients of Paycom. We did use Paycom for Payroll, position management, performance, surveys, training and documentation.
Pros
- Everything was accessable on one page
- User friendly
- New employees were able to learn to use the system easily
Cons
- The tax department - In my experience, our taxes for several different states were always neglected to be paid on time.
- The availability of your support team when you need help and need to have some attention immediately. In my experience, we sometimes would never get a call back after leaving a message.
- Reporting could be better with the data accuracy. In my experience, we could run several reports with the same information and it would all have different answers. No consistency.
- In my experience, it had a negative impact on our company when taxes were not being paid on time and we were continually getting tax notices from many states that the taxes were overdue.
- Reports were run by several people in the company with same information and would get different results numbers and data.
- One good thing was the specialist I had was very helpful when able to get ahold of her. She was spread too thin with many clients. She was always pleasant and very helpful and resoved many issues at the time of the call.
We were dissatisfied with our overall experience when we were spending more time and resources from our own employees to track down why we were not getting the taxes paid and spending too much time trying to get accurate information on reports.
We are presently using UKG. I have to say that Paycom is more user friendly to use.
