Overall Satisfaction with Paycom
We use it for onboarding, terminations, a lot of PAFs. So handling employee changes, benefits, everything. I think we used a lot of it. We haven't yet I-9 portal yet. I know we had asked about it, but I don't know if we've used that yet. We do mostly just employee information, wage changes, medical benefits, things of that sort.
Pros
- I do like the app, especially because a lot of the employees reach out for simple things. So even if they want a copy of a W2 or pay stub, they're able to get everything to the app. They can request time off. I would say that the app's really helpful to us and our employees. It eliminates a lot of the stress of us having to figure out everything manually.
Cons
- One of the things is when we upload bulk employees, or for example, summer school, we upload a bunch of employees. Even for new hires or current hires or previous hires, sometimes the fields will be missing or I would just delete information. So we have to go back in there and do it manually. So if they were able to figure out what's happening or why it's doing that, it would help us a lot because we process a lot of employees for summer and literally they'll come in one month, everyone at once, they'll work for two months and then we off board the third month. So it's a lot of pushback and forth.
- I think time saved, especially not having to buy so many systems or software. Paycom does have a lot of the software that we need, so we don't need to go to different companies and buy other stuff.
