Paycom Review
Overall Satisfaction with Paycom
I use it as an admin to set up for my team, but I have an HRIS person in my team now that manages a lot of it. Addresses onboarding to offboarding ATS, payroll, employee benefits governance, leave of absence performance.
Pros
- It really does well the payroll piece, the approve your check and benefits, open enrollment, all of that is done really well.
Cons
- I think ATS is one place. It has a lot of clicks to get into an applicant and it's just not user-friendly for recruiters who are recruiting a lot of jobs. Also, the other places where we are hitting the ceiling is the performance reviews, like nine boxes and succession planning.
- It has been great. We were using 17 to 19 systems before we went to Paycom, so a one-stop shop was a great solution. Employees love it and the app and everything. It's very easy to use.
So single database, it has really helped to keep everything in place and organized. There are within the systems where you have to update multiple areas, like there are some gaps that the system is not flowing or data is not flowing, like position managements and org design. But it has helped tremendously to have it in one place.
It has affected tremendously. I have a lean HR team and we grew from, we just doubled the size in three years, but because of the technology, it has been able to empower us to do it with a lean team.
