Paylocity! The Cadillac of Payroll!
Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use Paylocity for Onboarding new employees, payroll, reports, benefits, community, and more. Onboarding has streamlined the new hire process immensely in comparison to other software I have used in the past. Payroll processing is probably the most user-friendly I have ever used, and the same goes for the Benefits. Easy to use for HR but also the employees.

Cons
- Processing of partial direct deposit returns. The process is very confusing and tedious when trying to reissue a partial direct deposit if an employee has funds going to two separate accounts.
- Customer service---- Client Support ---- Our rep is constantly changing. When we call into the call center it's like flipping a coin if you will get an answer to your question... call back, get someone else... get a different answer.
- TIME ZONES --- when you book a conference call with us -- maybe it could be on our time zone. That is something simple that the person scheduling should be aware of.
- Reduced errors.
- More consistent processes.
- Reduced time expense.
The onboarding feature and benefits enrollment has probably freed up the most time for our HR department. These processes used to be lengthy, confusing, and more manual than not. Now with ease, employees are able to complete the onboarding process before they start, making the entire first day of work productive rather than sitting in an office filling out paperwork.
I would like to get more use out of these features... I have not had much opportunity to use it. I do see that employees use the community to reach out and give thanks, kudos, and recognition to each other which is great. Also, birthdays and anniversaries are posted and important updates from HR.
In comparison to the other systems, I have used... I would call Paylocity "The Cadillac" of payroll (and so much more). It has streamlined processes that in other software are still partially manual, saving so much time. For example, Onboarding. Employees are now able to fill out all of their new hire paperwork prior to their start date. Now their first day is productive and hands-on rather than sitting with HR filling our paperwork all day.
