Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use paylocity for everything. Payroll, onboarding, HR management. Our biggest problem is getting people to do the tasks that we ask them to do, and Paylocity makes it so easy because it puts it all in one place! It also makes it easy for training purposes, when we hire someone who will be using Paylocity as a management tool, they only need to learn one system for everything.

  • Reducing confusion by easily being able to communicate with all employees despite their physical location
The onboarding is really nice for us because we can assign the packet that can be done without having to sit right next to the employee the whole time. Scheduling is nice as well, we don't have managers being texted every 2 minutes with people trying to change shifts, it can be done by the employees and they can see everything.
Our employees love the community page! We have made several different groups to post pictures of pets, talk about movies, make plans for lunch/dinners. It has been such a fun tool that allows our employees to participate as much or as little as they would like in building those relationships outside of just working together.
Paylocity is more robust. It has everything in one site. Other sites we have used in the past there always seems to be something we need to use another site for, usually this is payroll that we have to have on another service. But paylocity has the payroll function and makes it easier for time cards and payroll to be all in the same place.

Having used several other HRIS systems, Paylocity is by far the easiest to use, it takes the least time to train others on, and it has the most functionality compared to its competition. However, some of the technical problems, and the amount of time it takes to get things resolved can get very frustrating and make it not work the pros sometimes.
