Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use the system for payroll, and HR/benefits. We appreciate the upload template features, pulling in the time for all Employees, and the Qtly and Year-end reports. Makes it easier to close a month/year with reports and W2s at your fingertips.

  • Have not utilized the cost-effectiveness of all Paylocity has to offer.
Paylocity allows us to be more efficient in our roles with the automation of the core processes, less room for error with the uploading of hours, spreadsheets for special paid employees, etc. Also, the Qtr and Year-end processes for taxes and W2s are also helping with time efficiency for our Payroll clerks.
Since that function is not out front and center, we do not utilize it as much as we could. I do like the Community functions for notes and reminders for employees.

Paylocity is great when dealing with a general pay structure, such as hourly employees. Gets a little harder to navigate when they are technicians with different pay structures.

Paylocity Support

Turnaround time is too long. Payroll is time sensitive and GL dependent, so when there's an issue it normally needs to be rectified sooner than later. We've had GL issues that have taken almost a month+ turnaround. Even simple employee issues sometimes take days to hear back from our team lead.
