Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use time and labor, onboarding, recruiting and onboarding, surveys, hr and payroll, and learning. We use the services to help manage our staffs records, payroll records, and data. Our biggest issue is with the customer service provided with paylocity. We have a team of people that sometimes help but most of the time cause more issues.

customer services team needs to be more helpful and trained to assist with all issues

Paylocity Automated Processes

they help reduce the time it takes to process payroll until they updated the way in which a payroll is processed. I have gained a bit more time back in my day but having to double check things are done properly with the software causes a bit of stress it should be correct the first time

Paylocity Employee Engagement

they help but the surveys did not work very well until my most recent call with Paylocity they finally fixed it. I spoke with several reps and they could not help. why does it take so many calls to get things corrected. i feel like I've been paying for a service that wasn't working for years i should get a credit or something for this.

Alternatives Considered

Paycom

i really enjoy using time and labor but have thought about switching providers. they always reach out and seem to care about my concurs unlike Paylocity. Paylocity needs to understand that we are paying a lot of money for services and assistance that is not always available. Sure, i can call the number for help but getting rep that wants to help is difficult.

overall, works well. I would recommend Paylocity but would warn them that it does come with issues. for example, when you are in the implementation phase they do not always help. they expect you to complete all these forms but the person you work with always seems to move to a different department. Please don't transfer that person in the middle of implementation or a new service.
