Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Paylocity for Payroll, HR, Recruiting and Performance. We started out with Payroll and HR only, but we didn't utilize the HR portal much. Now we use HR all the time. It was most helpful to me when our HR Mgr left, and I had to suddenly process new hires. The onboarding in Paylocity has been a huge time saver! I use Paylocity for various things on a daily basis.

Pros

  • Paylocity has excellent customer service! I receive email responses very quickly, and if you call you can always talk to someone right away
  • The way the Paylocity portals interface together is amazing
  • We have connected Paylocity with our benefits, so they are updated automatically

Cons

  • Time & Labor can be a little confusing for some
  • Setup could be simpler. Seems like there's always one tiny box that wasn't checked that affects everything
  • Nothing else I can think of
  • Reduced time expenditures
  • Reduced errors
  • Better data driven decision making
Automation in Paylocity has helped immensely. It has saved us a lot of time & energy.
We do not consistently utilize the employee engagement tools. Our new HR Manager is working on that.
Paylocity is better than all of them. I've never been this satisfied with a payroll company.

Paylocity is extremely well suited for payroll. I can't think of any where it would be less appropriate
