Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use nearly the full suite of products that Paylocity offers, from Recruiting & On-boarding to HR & Payroll, Time & Labor, Performance, Learning, etc.

Pros

  • Streamlines the recruiting process allowing hiring managers the ability to review candidates in a timely manner and expedite hiring.
  • With HR & Payroll, we have all the information about our employees at our finger tips.

Cons

  • Learning - The learning product could use some improvement. Reporting could be cleaned up and more user friendly. The assignment of courses could also be improved. Currently it allows for duplication of the same course that an employee has already completed.
  • Benefits - the setup is complex and the rules can get glitchy which cause the data transfer to HR & Payroll to not be accurate.
  • Prior to Paylocity, we were handling performance through paper reviews and evaluations. Having this directly in the system has saved us a ton of time and created a more consistent process across all departments
  • Having Data Insights has been incredibly helpful when asked for data sets that would typically be manipulation of multiple spreadsheets to get the information needed. Now with a few filters, we can get it in seconds.
With the ability to store so much data, we no longer have manual processes in place that take up time and resources.
Community has been a huge shift in our communication efforts to get information out to employees. With the ability to have dialogue that others can see, we spend less time repeating ourselves and more time actually helping our employees.
We vetted several other solutions, and none of them came close to the seem less functionality we get with Paylocity, partnered with their stellar customer service and cost overall.

While Paylocity isn't perfect, they strive for excellence and their customer service is phenomenal. If my account manager isn't available, I can still get to another equally qualified account manager to help resolve whatever concerns I have. They have taken plenty of my suggestions as product development requests or have included me as an early adopter to enhancements they are looking to launch but still need user feedback. My experience with other HCM solutions has not been to this level and is one of the many reasons we chose Paylocity for our needs.
