Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

I use Paylocity for the Self Service Portal, Personnel File maintenance, Skills and Certifications tracking, Learning, Recruitment, Survey, Performance, a little Time and Labor, a little Recognition and Rewards, and Community. It addresses efficiency, organization, cohesiveness, collaboration, and motivation to name a few things the product addresses.

Pros

  • Provides a lot of trainings for use in Learning
  • Provides the opportunity to track all communication and the applicant's recruitment stage flow in Recruitment
  • Provides surveys for use

Cons

  • Onboarding events can be cumbersome to make
  • It would be nice if AI could make scheduling more efficient and easier
  • Performance Reviews can be cumbersome to make
  • Better efficiency
  • less room for mistakes
  • set processes
Scheduling is time-consuming. The other modules I use work well.
I am not familiar with Premium Video. It is good for moral when we use recognition tools to compliment an employee. Community makes it easy to communicate announcements, post photos, recognize an employee, and house documents employees may need.
I think Paylocity is robust. While it still has some kinks to iron out, it is building out over time nicely. ADP is a really nice system, but a bit dated. PeopleAdmin requires an immense amount of time to build ones system. BambooHR and Gusto aren't as robust in my opinion.

Do you think Paylocity delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Paylocity's feature set?

Yes

Did Paylocity live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Paylocity go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Paylocity again?

Yes

I think Paylocity offers a comprehensive HR solution. I think that some of the functionality could be more intuitive. There are some small details here and there that I run across sometimes that would be nice if it if were set up differently. I don't know them off-hand at this moment though. But, I'd be happy to start reporting them.
