Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use Paylocity for all things HR related.....Recruiting, Onboarding, Payroll, Timekeeping, etc. The timekeeping is on a biometric clock so much less chance of time theft, which was a problem in the past. The Payroll function is easy to use and makes processing payroll quick and efficient. There are many features that we have not yet implemented as well.
Pros
- User interfaces are easy to use.
- Timekeeping is accurate.
- Payroll runs smoothly.
Cons
- When I have requested something different, I always get a "we can't do that" answer. Then, when I eventually beat the dead horse, out of nowhere someone will say, "oh I think we might have a work around for you". After hearing "no" many times, it gets quite frustrating.
- Our point of contact is changed way too frequently. Out of the FIVE that we have had in the past year and a half, only ONE has been cordial and helpful. The others have been rude or unresponsive.
- It seems that changes are made that are unnecessary or cosmetic, when there are actual functions in the system that should be improved first.
- We will have reduced costs once we can get rid of our old HRIS. We have to keep them until we can get history loaded that wasn't included during implementation.
Our payroll processing time has been cut in half.
