Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use this system as an HRIS and for payroll. We use it for performance reviews, employee records and benefits as well as many other features.

  • Performance reviews must be able to integrate feedback, adding it as an attachment is not an improvement in my opinion, we liked it the way it was. This causes much more work and detail in the feedback section as you cant choose what to show and not show as an attachment.
  • Goals are not able to be shared with other team members but Journals can be? why??
  • Benefits OE is a disaster each time, they change the portal and make us put it all back again almost every year.
  • Customer service has gone WAY downhill since the pandemic, of little to no value and changes or requests take way too long.

Not much, we wanted to integrate with a recognition platform and got little to no information or sources that were sufficient to do so within the portal. Need more recognition options with gift cards, etc.
Its ok, its a bit more robust than Bamboo and not as customizable as others.

Its well suited for small to mid size companies that dont want to have lots of specifics customized for their company. We are not able to make the customization that we would like in many places as well as in the recruiting section, very limited.
