Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use this system as an HRIS and for payroll. We use it for performance reviews, employee records and benefits as well as many other features.

Cons

  • Performance reviews must be able to integrate feedback, adding it as an attachment is not an improvement in my opinion, we liked it the way it was. This causes much more work and detail in the feedback section as you cant choose what to show and not show as an attachment.
  • Goals are not able to be shared with other team members but Journals can be? why??
  • Benefits OE is a disaster each time, they change the portal and make us put it all back again almost every year.
  • Customer service has gone WAY downhill since the pandemic, of little to no value and changes or requests take way too long.

Not much, we wanted to integrate with a recognition platform and got little to no information or sources that were sufficient to do so within the portal. Need more recognition options with gift cards, etc.

Using Paylocity

75 - The entire company uses Paylocity for reference of materials, benefits and much more. The HR department and finance department use it the most. These are the most used business functions for our company, managers also use it.
3 - The people who support and use paylocity are the People Operations team and the finance team. We are frequent and educated users on the HRIS system and know how to use it to run reports and get data. We use the system on a daily basis and know how to do just about everything

Im not going to make a change and we like it. Its a lot of work to set the system up and we are still learning how to set up and correct things as we go. The integration of the system was so long ago and at times we find we need to update or fix errors or things that were not set up properly still

Paylocity Implementation

It was a long time ago, complete and full implementation is hard, there is just so much to configure its a full time job!
Change management was a small part of the implementation and was well-handled

Paylocity Support

The benefits support is great, but there are still issues. General support gives canned answers and regularly I have to write back again to them to read my question or to actually answer what im asking!

Yes - Stinks, it has features that are not usable and doest not have the resources section that I want to refer people to. Not robust at all
