Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
As the Director of HR, I primarily use Paylocity for Recruiting, Performance, tracking dashboard info for leadership reporting (Data Insights), Salary reviews and promotion of employee recognition in Community.
Pros
- Integrated system, with timecard tracking, onboarding functions for new hires as well as easy connection to Employee Navigator for our benefits administration
- All-inclusive HCM, not just a payroll system, no extra charges for basic functions which are more than other HCM platforms
- Responsive customer service when we have questions
Cons
- Recent changes to the Recruiting system made it into a database, which is not as useful for us as a small company
- We would like access on Community to a few non-payroll employees
- Needs upgrades to how Recruiting data tracks time-to-fill
- better workforce visibility
- consistent recruiting/interviewing process with texting feature for communicating with candidates
- consistent onboarding and document signing capabilities for new hires
We love Community, digital peer recognition and easy surveys.
Paylocity definitely provides more HR strategic functions in the base price
