Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We utilize Paylocity for practically EVERYTHING Human Resources AND routine communications monthly, essentially annual training course assignment(s) and tracking, and so much more! Paylocity is not just a payroll solution it is a Company Solution for all things relating to engaging, managing your workforce, and giving your employees the power to easily submit request, changes, and updates to their information. The client portal gives a quick glance of who's birthday it is today, hit their annual anniversary, completed an assigned training / survey, clocked in late/early, and so much more! As an example, I recognized an employee birthday today and when we saw each other in the hall the employee was thankful for having his birthday recognized in "Community". Paylocity has been a dazzling solution for us!

Pros

  • From recruitment to on-boarding to all things workforce management it is in one dazzling tool "Paylocity"! We went from more than 50 pages of paperwork to all our company forms, policies, agreements and reviews 100% paperless thanks to Paylocity and their Amazing Team
  • Accurate Payroll Calculations and insightful data driven reports and analytic tools
  • Maintains accuracy in PTO Accrual and department availability forecasting
  • Engaging and useful to our employees

Cons

  • This is a difficult one to answer as there are so many tools able to used and customized... so far we don't have anything to share here.
  • Their implementation to include AI to help jump to topics to assist in all things Paylocity has been a game changer for us! Love that tool too!
  • Maybe allow us to upload our logo and make the employee experience feel more color/cosmetically geared toward our company logo / colors etc.
  • Reduced time expenditures, reduced errors, more consistent process flow, better workforce visibility for management
  • Better data-driven decision making / planning
  • From recruitment to retirement and all things in between Paylocity IS THE SOLUTION
Paylocity has been a 100% ROI, with their ability to partner with those like 401k management and benefit management, cobra administration, and the ability for all related partners to be connected within our Paylocity portal for employees to have 1 single place they can log in and get answers, check information, update, etc. we have realized more than our investment cost in return because of Paylocity and their amazing solution.
As I shared earlier, I literally had an employee approach me today to thank me for wishing him a happy birthday. Our employee's were never recognized for anything publicly within our organization until Paylocity! It has been an amazing tool that has improved our employees engagement with one another. Seeing people smile at you because you had a path to show appreciation for their tenure or for recognizing a birthday goes more than the 1 minute to go to community and show a reaction or send a comment visible to the entire workforce in the community pages open for all employees... just awesome! Our employees are finally able to recognize our appreciation and value for them being part of our company team because of tools such as Community, Peer Recognition (Impressions), Surveys, and Premium Video.
There is no comparison. Every single one of these products are hog-poged and they do not encompass the seamless connection between 401k, benefits, cobra administration, employee / manager training and record keeping, performance and PIP, workforce management, etc. All similar products require multiple sites to be logged into for each different category of payroll, 401k, and human resource and departmental management tools.... With Paylocity, you log in and ever single one of these items of management are at your fingertips and retrievable in one convenient place; not to mention improvement it lends to the time relating to all thing Human. There really is no comparison to the competition. Paylocity Rules!

With the addition of AI* it has been a game changer for time saving for us, especially since we only implemented the Paylocity solution in January for this year! We utilize that tool in Paylocity at least 1x a week! Preparing month-end financial statements and being able to easily trace back types of payroll processed (i.e. bonus vs. actual hours worked, deduction/garnishments monthly reporting reports, etc. all just easily at our fingertips! So many tools and solutions that have freed up time and time spent researching... Paylocity is AMAZING!
