Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
-We use Paylocity as the primary HRIS to manage personnel data, performance, compensation, recruiting, and learning.
-Business problems were inefficiency, lack of modernization, too much paper-based data management, no centralized record-keeping, and we didn't have a learning management system.
-Our administration team (HR, Accounting, IT) input and manage data relative to all of the above. Our leaders get strong visibility and a single source of truth, and our employees enjoy a user-friendly interface to access all of their information.

Pros
- allows the creation of many different levels of access and customization of roles and permissions
- the system is fairly intuitive and user-friendly when setting up modules like Recruiting, Performance, and Learning
- Onboarding is streamlined and customizable
- sends reminders and notifications of overdue tasks
- dashboards are easy to see and navigate
- announcements, celebrations, etc. in Community module
Cons
- In the Learning module, the pre-loaded training library has thousands of courses that don't apply to us. It is cumbersome to hide the ones we don't want our people to see. There is no mechanism to go down the list and select multiple ones to hide. Right now, if you want to hide a course, you select a course and hide it. However, no matter where you are in the library, every time you hide a course, it takes you back to the top of page one to continue. So, if you are on page 17 of the library hiding a course, it takes you back to page one, then you navigate back to page 17, scroll down to where you were, hide a course, go back to the top of page one, navigate back to page 17, scroll down to where you were, select and hide a course, go back to page one, etc. This should be waaaaay easier!

The automation of processes like payroll, personnel data, performance, compensation, recruiting, and learning have made us more efficient by an order of magnitude. It's like coming out of the dark ages into a world of simplicity, ease, and strength. When people want data, we can retrieve it and show patterns, trends, etc.
We are only just starting to use these tools, so we don't have a lot of feedback yet, but from what I see and hear, Community is a nice touch, Surveys is simple, and the Video module is easy to use.
