Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use it for HR , Payroll and Recruiting. My focus is HR, Benefits and Recruiting. Our service team is usually very responsive. I have encountered issues on the benefits side over the past few years - some account managers were not responsive and/or knowledgeable so we had to request a change. Sometimes the benefits changes do not roll into HR & Payroll to stop deductions.
Pros
- The service team is responsive when I submit a ticket.
- The service team provides viable solutions when we need assistance, such as configuration for pay codes and the proper taxation.
Cons
- It would be nice if Time & Labor and HR & Payroll had a more seamless connection
- The mobile has improved, but is still not as user-friendly as other apps.
- We would like the ability to make W-4 changes in the mobile app.

workflows allow us to speed up approval processes for things such as pay changes and policy changes.
Half of our company works in the field and does not have computer access. Now that Community can be sent from the Company set level, I can reach all employees with pertinent information with one step.
I think Paylocity is more user-friendly than ADP and PeopleSoft. UKG (Ultipro when I used it) was easier on the configuration for security, but it was very difficult on the tax side for our multiple companies with different FEIN's.
