Paylocity is the best payroll program we have found
Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use Paylocity for payroll, which includes time clock, tracking PTO, and processing of payroll. We also utilize the recruiting and onboarding aspects. Employees have a portal they can access which gives them access to their paystubs, W-2, employee handbook, available PTO time and the community chat.
Pros
- Our time & labor distribution is complicated. Paylocity never has an issue with handling it
- The reports are very user friendly and customizable.
- Onboarding makes it easy for the new hires to complete their new hire paperwork prior to beginning employment
Cons
- Nothing is coming to mind
- Annual workers comp audits have been quick and flawless due to the ability to customize reports and clearness of data displayed
Payroll takes half the time to process than it took with our previous payroll company freeing up time to work on other items.
While we do have the ability to use the Community feature, we as a company have not taken advantage of it the way we could, which would encourage employees to engage with others more often.
The reports for Corpay were very difficult to decipher. Monthly payroll reconciliations would take three times as long as they do with Paylocity. When we had our annual audits, the auditors had difficulty matching up the payroll amounts with the 941s.
Paychex was all about pushing more products and didn't seem concerned with ensuring the basic aspects of the program were suitable to our needs.
