Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

payroll, recruiting, onboarding, HRIS, LMS

helps organize our employees data, allows for cloud storage to minimize physical paperwork, streamlines full cycle recruiting. Easy access to employee data

Pros

  • call center has knowledgeable people to help resolve issues, unlike ADP
  • I like the knowledge base, easy access to the basics

Cons

  • I'd like the Data Insights to be able to go all the way back in time. all the data is in Paylocity, why can't I run through my data from 2014-2016?
  • In the recruiting module, we use the evaluations, I really need to be able to run a report on this as I'm using that data to find correlations between good and bad interviews and whether or not their interview being good or bad resulted in turnover or retention
  • reduced errors
  • good visibility
Need more flexibility with the points. The current set up doesn't work for us, so instead we manipulated the vacation earnings to track our attendance.
Just starting to use community. Surveys are good but I have trouble getting my employees to do them (low participation)
mostly good. could use more flexibility to tailor to how my company runs. Some of the things I'd like to use are not flexible enough for us to use (points)
hate adp, quickbooks was only for payroll and it wasn't good either

Do you think Paylocity delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Paylocity's feature set?

Yes

Did Paylocity live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Paylocity go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Paylocity again?

Yes

I like the support via the phone. It's intuitive to use.
I wish some modules added on for certain things was more about how many I did or use, not my headcount. For example, I might hire 7 people in a month, but if I do a background through you, I pay for all 200 employees on the rolls. Id rather pay $50/background. If I don't use the functionality in the low hiring months, paying for 200 heads seems unfair for a service I'm not using.
