Overall Satisfaction with Procore

We are a concrete construction company. All office administration uses Procore and top level field workers use Procore. Office uploads contract documents and drawings, field uses this to build the project. During the project, the field uses Procore to track daily tasks, store job site photos, and create and submit paperwork (RFI, submittals, change orders, etc).
  • Looking at drawings on a mobile device.
  • Has the option to click on section details to go to the page the detail is on.
  • Has easy upload for documents with Procore drive.
  • Allow a user to move drawings and documents from another user's account to their own when they have been invited. Right now you have to download from the invite then re-upload.
  • Give the option to print from Procore without downloading.
  • Allow a user who has been invited from 2 different emails to combine the accounts into one without contacting all of the people who invited you and asking them to change your email in their system.
Procore is better all around to navigate.
It would be very nice to have the option to preview drawings when invited as a subcontractor during preconstruction. I think the other 2 mentioned above have that. With Procore you have to download the entire package.
The place were a subcontractor benefits the most is that when submitting RFI the exact text of your question gets shown to the architect/engineer that needs to see it at the same time as the contractor. This removes the problem of someone revising your wording and making it confusing.
  • We have a person full time dedicated to uploading and running Procore.
  • We are able to get updates to all documents to the field quickly and efficiently.
  • We have less mistakes due to the right person not getting an update.
  • Gain visibility into projects
  • Ensure information is accessible and up to date
  • Document job site conditions
  • Report on incidents and inspections
  • Identify job site risks
  • Track cost impacts from the field
  • Streamline financial reporting
  • Simplify employee time tracking
Having current information to all levels of management is key to all of our goals. Having a platform that is flexible enough to work for office and field workers is a big deal.
It took a while to integrate so it seemed tough. However, this is the first system of this type we have implemented as we were growing rapidly and the need developed.
Procore works great for a construction company. With more contractors in the industry signing on to Procore, our method of passing information (drawings, documents, etc) is becoming more standardized. Viewing drawings on mobile devices is great. Working with drawings while on a computer is not as nice. I prefer to download them to my computer and use Bluebeam to work with them.
