Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Online

I own a bookkeeping business and regularly assist business owners with managing their books. QuickBooks Online helps us to clearly see where money is coming in and exactly where the money is going out. Every dollar has a name and we can make informed decisions on how to adjust expenses and/or sales to create more profit. QuickBooks Online is user friendly with pulling and customizing reports, which allows us to see exactly what we need each month.

Pros

  • Frequent updates--improves functions

Cons

  • Frequent updates--can challenge user to re-learn procedures
  • Every company must have its own subscription
  • Require high-speed internet
  • Increased client satisfaction and confidence.
  • Faster time to review and provide reports.
  • User friendly for both client and accountant, making collaborative work easier.

So far, it's enabled me to do everything I've needed in order to provide quality reporting and feedback to clients.
QuickBooks Online has great support through a solid reference section on the site, as well as knowledgeable representatives to help answer questions.
QuickBooks Online is a very strong option for small businesses and the service industry. I would not recommend it for businesses that have heavy inventory tracking and management.
