Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Online

We use QuickBooks Online for all of our accounting needs. We also use it in partnership with our roofing software to ensure we charge any job materials and supplies to to the correct job. We use the reporting often as well to see where our profit and loss lies as well as balance sheets.

  • I wish they would limit the ai features, they never work right for us
  • I wish the accountant settings, like reclassifying many transactions were available outside of just the QuickBooks Online accountant accounts
  • I don't like that they advertise their own products to our clients

  • simple bill paying
Overall, QuickBooks Online is pretty easy to use and has the capability for everything we need. There are some parts I'd like to see better but I think it's the best accounting software out there at this time. It helps make all of our business processes simple and efficient for the most part.
As I've mentioned, there aren't a lot of similar products, and certainly not with all the capability of QuickBooks Online. In my opinion, they nickel and dime for everything but they also do work pretty well across the board. I think the reconciliation process is also by far the best with QuickBooks Online than anything else.

QuickBooks Online and Intuit software in general has the monopoly on accounting software and does it better than any other software out there. It is easy to use and works well for most things I need. On the wholesale billing, they raise their prices so much that it stops really being beneficial for us, as we then have to raise our prices to our clients multiple times a year and we spend valueable time doing that and it doesn't offer that much of a discount to our customers anymore.
