Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Online Advanced
We switched from an on-prem accounting and management ERP to QuickBooks Online Advanced. We use it for all accounting functions. Our main challenge with the prior software was online access and ease of use. QuickBooks Online Advanced has enabled that. There are some features we had to leave behind, but we are working on implementing those with other cloud-based software.

Implementing QuickBooks Online Advanced seemed straightfoward, but despite the deep dive training I took before doing so, there were several pitfalls that I feel could have been avoided with additional training or safeguards placed within the system. Once I acclimated to the system, it became easy to use on the day to day, although I did have quite a bit of cleanup to perform.
The main factor for leaving our on-prem solution for QuickBooks Online Advanced was the cloud-based nature of it. During the pandemic, we shut our physical offices and went completely virtual. We needed a solution that fit that workspace and provided not only availability but optimization of mobile access. QuickBooks Online Advanced did that for us and we are very happy with that aspect.
QuickBooks Online Advanced addresses all of our business needs from an accounting standpoint. It does not address our specific industry needs, so we have turned to other solutions, namely Connectwise and it's suite of products to perform the management functions that were integrated into our prior ERP. There is connectivity between the two, but we have yet to activate that.
We looked at other products but honestly from an ease of use and price point, we focused on QuickBooks Online Advanced from the beginning and are happy with that decision. We have several trusted partners that use some form of QB, and their input was invaluable when making the decision to finally migrate over.

QuickBooks Online Advanced has addressed every need we had for an accounting software. It's easy to use, easy to access, and affordable. Unfortunately, we do now have to use multiple systems for our entire business process as the management and service tracking that were integrated in our prior system are not a part of QuickBooks Online Advanced, but that's okay.
