Overall Satisfaction with Raiser's Edge NXT
Raiser's Edge NXT is our organization's database. It allows us to track donors and levels of giving from prospect to current. It also allows us to track event attendance, foundation and donor requests.
- Raiser's Edge NXT is great for producing reports.
- We like the integration between Raiser's Edge and Financial Edge. It has helped to ensure more accuracy from development to finance.
- We like being able to record correspondence with donors, like acknowledgement letters, comments, notes, etc.
- The system has been down quite a bit lately so it causes our work flow to slow down.
- Custom queries are still tricky. It would be great to have an easier way to generate these reports.
- The search feature is pretty strict. Not sure if there's an easy fix but it has created some challenges when trying to locate donors.
- Would be great if the system would regularly scan and tell us some potential issues, like duplicate record entry, missing information, intelligence about our donors, etc.

- Increased scalability due to cloud deployment
It hasn't been a year so hard to say if we've generated more revenue. We are still in set up mode with a goal to try to get better at recording meetings, follow up notices, etc.
We have taken advantage of some of the webinars and prior to purchasing NXT we had the training subscription. We have benefited from having regular contact with Blackbaud technology experts, from the chat line to our Customer Success Team representative to other support professionals. The only issue is sometimes it's difficult to know if the person contacting us is on the support side or the sales side. We invested heavily for the new features and really don't want to be contacted about purchasing additional things right now.
