Overall Satisfaction with Rippling

We use it for onboarding, offboarding, time/attendance tracking, payroll, IT, learning management, pulse surveys, and review cycles. It helps us easily set up all of our employees with the devices they need and has workflows to help us automate our duties.

Cons

  • reporting functionality is clunky and often requires support to get what you need.
  • we operate out of a lot of states, so sometimes our payroll reporting is complicated and there have been issues with errors in filing due to Rippling.
  • Significant reduction in work time spent on applicant tracking and communication
  • Significant reduction in work time spent on KPI tracking, shifting that time to analysis instead.
  • Improved team communication due to a single source of truth
We moved from Fuse due to, in our experience, lack of functionality, slow turnaround times, and poor support. In my opinion, there's no comparison to Rippling, even though I think Fuse is trying hard to increase their market share.
They use AI at the beginning, which can at times be quite annoying to try and bypass. Most of the time a support rep is able to resolve the issue without escalation. If they do have to escalate they're generally quite communicative but it can be quite slow to resolve certain issues like state taxes (which is understandable because the state agencies are slow).

It's quite user friendly, but can be a little slow at times.
They are excellent, and by far the best that we looked at, for cross functional integration. The ability to assign and ship a device to a new hire in Rippling, ensure they get all of their new hire documents during their onboarding, and provision the accounts that they need inside of the platform is great.
