Rippling for the win!
Overall Satisfaction with Rippling
We have been using Rippling for a couple of years now, so we've seen them grow a lot. We used to use multiple platforms for various business aspects but are happy that they can all be housed in Rippling now. We now utilize pretty much all that Rippling has to offer from device management to performance management, payroll, headcount planning, to everything in between. We are a start-up, so our numbers are small now, but we know that Rippling has the capacity to handle our expected future growth.
Pros
- Rippling Support is great at finding solutions to problems, whether you chat with a bot, read an article in the help section, or speak to an agent.
- Workflow Studio has been so helpful in automating so many of our Onboarding processes!
- Utilizing Reports helps so much in having a ton of specific information about each employee all in one place.
Cons
- One thing that we would love to see is Rippling being a little more proactive in taking ownership of mistakes and doing what it can to make up for them. We've had some issues pop up that affected employees (payroll/devices/etc.), and Rippling seemed very unconcerned. One example is a new hire was somehow not included in our payroll, so we worked with Rippling to fix it, but then they just sent a paper check to the employee, which would take days to get to him, and didn't even expedite it. Similarly, a device was ordered well in advance of a new hire's start date, but there was some kind of warehouse problem, so it didn't ship out on time, and when it did ship out, it wasn't overnighted, even though it was their problem. We had to postpone the start date of the new hire because the device wasn't going to arrive on time, then had to cancel the device order to be able to place a new device order to select overnight shipping and pay for that ourselves.
- Rippling is always improving things, which is great, but their Help articles don't always reflect those improvements/updates. Some information is outdated/not accurate.
- Rippling has helped lessen the stress of hiring and people management for our start-up, especially as we anticipate upcoming growth.
- Having so many HR processes and information housed in one platform and so easily accessible has been wonderful for us. Before Rippling, we were using multiple platforms for different processes, and it was very time-consuming.
- Leapsome and Greenhouse
We liked Leapsome and Greenhouse a lot, but ultimately, we got rid of them because Rippling offered similar options and the huge benefit was having just one platform. Rippling didn't necessarily outperform the other platforms, but the convenience of having everything in one place and being able to integrate all aspects of certain processes (e.g., Performance Management) with other processes and information in Rippling was important to us.
