Overall Satisfaction with Rippling

Our organization uses Rippling for Timekeeping, Document, and Contract signing. This is also used for Onboarding and Payroll-related stuff. Very useful!

Pros

  • Managing your timesheet. You can always monitor your time logs and make edits in case you need to adjust the hours.
  • Document Keeping. You can always get a copy of your signed contract, tax forms, and other stuff in one click. You can then Save and Print them, depending on your needs.
  • Paystubs are up to date. They make sure that all your paystubs are updated. You can even download a compressed folder containing all of them.
  • Easy to Navigate. Very user-friendly. This is highly efficient for individual consultants/contractors who rely on themselves.

Cons

  • Please have the old bank info saved so that when a consultant decides to switch back, it can be quickly done by just toggling a button.
  • No Point of Contact for Rippling issues. I had to talk to my manager and CEO to find out how to fix a problem. For a beginner, they will be confused.
  • Adding a "File a Ticket" button so that when a problem arises, it gets sent to the appropriate people, and you can track it in real-time.
  • Automated Payroll Processing- less personnel.
  • Ease of Access- being independent all the time.
  • Contact- Free for users- everything you need is there.
There are too many tabs to navigate from, which can sometimes confuse a user. What you are looking for can be found on different/scattered tabs. Rippling has specialized tabs designed for your role. You can see them all by going through the Tabs under your Profile.
Although I do not have direct contact with Rippling, my CEO almost always gets in touch with Rippling. I get the answer I am looking for each time I promptly raise a concern. I hope there is a direct 'Contact Rippling' option to lessen the hassle with my boss moving forward.

It is super friendly. You do not need in-depth knowledge of the computers to find out how each functionality works. Also, I do not need to mention this repeatedly: I love having a Rippling app on my phone. If the Wi-Fi is out on my laptop, I can still use mobile data and Rippling on my mobile phone.
Notion, Slack
Compared to other Timekeeping and Payroll software that I have used, this is by far the easiest to navigate and most reliable. They have an app and a desktop version, so you can choose whichever you prefer. You can download a copy of your contract and paystubs wherever you are, on your desktop, laptop, or mobile.
