Rippling for Benefits and PTO Superiority!
Overall Satisfaction with Rippling
Rippling is an all encompassing HR and Benefits tool. It really addressed PTO and sick leave in an intuitive and unique fashion. When requesting PTO, the company PTO polices are clearly stated, which mitigates any confusing and frees up HR time. Previously, HR would need to take time away from normal tasks to answer PTO/Sick leave questions.
Pros
- PTO and sick leave.
- Setting tax exemptions.
- Setting up and managing 401k.
Cons
- Training could be more streamlined.
- Provide an example passport to indicate which information is required for the i9 form.
- Prevent competing modules from appearing as advertisements.
- Waste less time trying to request PTO
- A great understanding of how many PTO hours remain/pending.
- A superb notification system.
Insperity is cumbersome and a chore to use. The paid time off section is quite confusing and does not show a friendly hour balance. It ends up causing more confusion than necessary. Also, implementing a mid-year qualifying life event change to benefits is not straight forward and usually requires human intervention.
