Overall Satisfaction with Rippling

Rippling is used to manage employee onboarding, taxation policy setup and joining formalities. It is used in scheduling and tracking leaves, collect all relevant documentation in one place as well as manage the payroll. The pay stubs and details are uploaded on Rippling and made available to employees on demand.

  • Engineering bugs where emails with Rippling links are sent out to employees but the actual documents on that link aren't ready
  • A log of all communication done with Rippling in one place - including service emails, and all communication with customer support
  • A page with details of important Rippling contact emails and company contact emails.
  • Makes communication very easy on a multitude of topics
  • Saves time and improves workflow efficiency
  • Information is available on-demand which means even after office hours
Rippling has an exceptional user interface. The user interface for ZingHR looks old and is clunky and buggy. The employee details sometimes don't load. The taxation information and pay stub details in ZingHR aren't easy to access and ascertain. Also, calculating tax and computing payroll is relatively more difficult. They don't have a good sales plan or tutorials, so even if they have certain capabilities in the platform, those aren't easily communicated to the human resource person using the platform.
Quick, effective resolution, without adding unnecessary roadblocks and obstacles. Sometimes so many of the products hide their support behind multiple layers of unnecessary and wasteful handshakes. They ask repeatedly for name or email or phone or company code or any other number of identifiers, before answering something which could be as simple as the website link for Rippling.

Nothing new, draws from the combined positives already listed.
Earlier, collecting the pay stubs for a particular reason or to share with a new employer used to be a difficult task and would involve some delay even with the fastest of the human teams. Having the documents all available to download on-demand makes it very easy. It would be unsuitable if a company has employees only from one nationality, all present physically in one office with a lot of the functionality handled by other applications.
